Crestmark announced the addition of Michael Parker, as a senior underwriter reporting to Crestmark's West Palm Beach office. He will be based out of Tampa, FL with responsibility for credit assessment and underwriting for the East region.
Parker brings with him over 30 years of asset-based lending experience with both bank-affiliated and privately held commercial finance companies, including Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Heller Financial and First Capital Corporation. Most recently, he was a managing director in the Corporate Finance Department of LCG Capital Group where he was responsible for originating and structuring various forms of capital for a wide range of lower middle-market companies. Previously, he held senior management positions responsible for business origination, credit underwriting, portfolio management and loan workouts at both the corporate and regional levels.
Actively involved in the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), Parker currently serves on its Membership Committee and is a board member of the CFA Florida Chapter; he is also a past president of the CFA's Southwest Chapter. He is a graduate of DePaul University and the CFA Wharton Institute at University of Pennsylvania.
