Global business advisory firm EisnerAmper appointed Michael Braverman, partner, as the firm’s national leader of transaction advisory services (TAS) and leader of forensic, litigation and valuation services (FLVS) at the firm’s New York office.

With more than 35 years’ experience, Braverman specializes in transactional consulting, litigation services, arbitration, auditing and complex accounting. He primarily advises law firms, private equity firms and public and private entities.

Braverman is a professional in both buy- and sell-side M&A transaction diligence and structuring as well as forensic investigations and commercial litigation and disputes. His expertise extends to SEC, DOJ and other regulatory enforcement actions, financial and fraud investigations, complex commercial litigation, purchase price and post-acquisition disputes, accounting and auditor malpractice, damage/lost profits and financial statement restatements. Braverman has served as an expert witness, consultant and neutral arbitrator in numerous matters, including those involving financial reporting and the application of GAAP and GAAS, and he frequently consults on complex accounting, reporting and SEC matters.

Braverman has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Florida and an MBA from Florida State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
