SENIOR ABL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a Senior ABL Account Executive. This person administers, analyzes and controls a portfolio of commercial loans and is generally responsible for some of the more complex credits in a portfolio. The Senior Account Executive is skilled in early problem recognition, establishing remedial action programs, negotiating documents, and other key credit and relationship matters.

Some responsibilities are:

  • Administer assigned accounts in accordance with credit approvals and prepare periodic credit reviews. Work closely with Credit Team Leader and Region Credit Manager on developing and executing remedial action plans for problem accounts.
  • Review and analyze financial trends, covenant compliance, and variances to projections. Promptly communicate emerging issues to senior managers. 
  • Monitor composition of assets and collateral integrity taking appropriate steps to mitigate unsecured loan exposures.
  • Review audit reports and insure compliance to recommendations or appropriate rationale is maintained. Oversee ongoing field examinations on assigned accounts directing specific emphasis on areas of concern.
  • Perform periodic customer service calls regarding needs, business plans, industry dynamics, collateral issues, and financial performance.
  • Maintain responsibility for complete credit, legal and insurance files and insure that all amendments and waivers are properly authorized and executed.
  • Provide revenue producing events for the business unit through implementation of amendment and waiver fees and avoid losing any relationships to competitive pressures.
  • Participate in the conversion of new business prospects, primarily in the due-diligence phase of the initiation process and the closing of new transactions.
  • Oversee the collateral analyst function as it relates to portfolio controls and monitoring routines.
  • Good interpersonal skills are required along with good credit, writing, and analytical   skills. Position requires working knowledge of computers and the use of business related software (Word & Excel).
