Description/Services:
Steeplechase, LLC is an experienced provider of ABL field exam outsourcing services to asset-based lending and other financial institutions, including banks, private equity firms and hedge funds.
Our firm addresses one of the most difficult problems in the ABL industry: how to analyze from a credit and not just an accounting perspective. Our professional staff of Collateral Consultants and CPAs effectively identifies strengths and weaknesses of both cash flow and credit, enabling both lenders and borrowers to make confident and effective decisions. And our experienced professionals maintain contact before, during and after an examination to keep the lender apprised of issues or concerns.
Our objective is to assist lenders in evaluating the integrity of their customers’ collateral by performing pre-loan surveys and rotational collateral monitoring field examinations. The information gathering techniques we employ are designed to generate comments and recommendations relating to a company’s reporting and procedures prior to a loan being granted. Our field examiners perform a wide variety of due diligence activities and fieldwork is generally conducted on-site and independently or in small teams.
