Leveraging the experience and sales data of Great American Group’s highly active industrial liquidation group, the appraisal team expediently performs field inspections of multiple plant or terminal locations across the continent, followed by diligent valuation research and market analyses in order to provide USPAP complaint appraisal reports in a timely manner. In addition to its in-house comparable sales data, the team draws upon market insight provided by a vast network of active used equipment dealers and other commodity-specific advisors. For liquidation value appraisals, which constitute a majority of the firm’s activities, Great American Group goes beyond providing gross value by projecting the costs and fees associated with conducting a liquidation sale in order to arrive at an indication of the net recovery value. The company is approved as an appraisal service provider by a majority of the nation’s leading asset-based lenders.
