History & Mission:
ABF Journal magazine was launched in 2002 as the first independent trade finance magazine exclusively focused on the asset-based lending, factoring, commercial finance and turnaround management industries. Our mission is to deliver a publication in tune with the informational needs of our readers — commercial finance professionals. Our editorial content is often described as a “refreshing point of view.” Our cover stories, feature articles and columns represent a unique blend of writers who possess the right credentials for the right story at the right time.

As trade journal publishers, we enjoy a heritage of more than 35 years. Our sister publication, the Monitor, has been heralded as the “leasing industry bible” by equipment leasing and finance professionals since 1974. Uniquely, several of our senior staff members have directly related industry experience as former executives in the commercial finance industry.

Our design is fresh and reader-friendly. Our unique exhibits, callouts and other data are purposely used to telegraph the main points of an article. It’s no wonder that ABF Journal has become the most trusted source of actionable information for today’s commercial finance professionals.

Content:
Our feature stories and columns range from executive profiles, round-table discussions with leaders from both large and small lending institutions and factoring companies, capital market perspectives, intellectual property financing, structured finance, field examinations, inventory evaluations, second lien financing, private equity and asset-based loan pairings, relevant legal information, quarterly league table commentary, turnaround management discussions, deal analytics — and much more!

Our Up Front section recaps newsworthy events that continue to shape the commercial finance industry. Quarterly exhibits include notable deals and personnel changes — both in easy-to-read formats.

Our Job Opportunities and Career Showcase pages provide listings on the latest job opportunities in the commercial finance industry. Contact Us:
